  • There are essentially three ways to successfully wear the skinny jeans trend:

    The second way to wear skinny jeans is with stiletto high heels. When worn with pointy toe, peep toe or even strappy high heels the effect can be very slimming by creating the illusion of longer legs. This is a fabulous look for all women, but especially for hippier women, and those with shorter legs.


  • 3. Rolled-Up Slim Jeans
    You can get creative with skinny jeans by rolling them up six to eight inches and wearing them over high boots, ankle boots, or even stilettos.     images

    Ο λόγος φυσικά για τις μοναδικές καμπάνες που λατρεύτηκαν από τους απελευθερωμένους hippies και χαρακτήρισαν μια ολόκληρη εποχή.

Έτσι με γνώμονα την ταύτιση της σημερινής εποχής με την δεκαετία του 1970 όσον αφορά την κοινωνικοπολιτική κατάσταση των χωρών, οι fashion designer και fashion editors αναβιώνουν αυτό το look (ethnic) με μπροστάρη τις καμπάνες.

     

     

    Η στενή γραμμή τους από τους γοφούς μέχρι και το γόνατο υπογραμμίζει παραπάνω από μία ομοιότητες, την σεξουαλική απελευθέρωση των γυναικών καθώς και τις προδιαγραφές για να ένα υγιές και γυμνασμένο σώμα. Τα aerobic όπως και η yoga σήμερα, είχαν την τιμητική τους αφού μόνο με αυτό το είδος γυμναστικής μπορούσε κανείς να είναι ”in” για να φορέσει επάξια τις στενές καμπάνες.

    The word denim comes from the name of a twill fabric called serge, originally made in Nîmes, France. It was originally called serge de Nîmes and later shortened to denim.The word ‘jeans’ comes from the French phrase ‘bleu de Genes’ meaning ‘the blue of Genoa’.

    Genoese Navy sailors first used to wear denim back in the 1500’s but it wasn’t until the 1870’s that denim took off.At the time of Gold rush bump Californian coal miners were in need of strong,durable clothing.Soon denim was adopted by most of them.

    Later in the 1930’s jeans were worn by Cowboys in the movies.This grown the popularity of jeans widely.

    In the 1940′s  during World War 2 American soldiers used to wear denim when they were off duty.By this time it seems that denim is mainly a men’s privilege.However in the 1950′s denim became the symbol of the teenage rebellion with James Dean, staring in the film Rebel Without a Cause being  the main symbol of this unconventional cloth.At that period denim has even been banned from some schools in the US.

    During the 1960’s jeans became more acceptable when seen in some super stars of old Hollywood like Briggite Bardot and Audrey Heburn and by the 1970’s they were established in the fashion and music world .
